Jonathan Buss is Regional Director of Underwriting for First American Title Insurance Company's National Commercial Services division. He is responsible for underwriting transactions nationally with a focus on supporting the Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, San Jose, Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis and Omaha operations.

He also co-chairs the Agricultural Practice Group and is a member of the Native American Lands task force.

As Senior Underwriting Counsel, I help navigate complex title matters with practical solutions and support. Prior to working at First American, I worked as an associate attorney in private practice, and spent 10 years volunteering in Montgomery County, Maryland as an Emergency Medical Technician and ambulance driver. Todd D’Amico brings more than 28 years of surveying, mapping, and zoning experience to FA Commercial Due Diligence Services Co., where he manages and directs commercial due diligence projects at a national level.

He has taken more than 125,000 ALTA Land Survey projects through the due diligence process. These projects include apartments, commercial projects, restaurants, hotels, public school districts, railroads, timberland projects, industrial sites, Right-of-Way projects, residential and retail.

Todd also serves as the current Chair of the ALTA/NSPS Land Survey Work Group. This group is a part of the American Land Title Association and responsible for collaborating with NSPS to develop educate and inform the title, settlement, surveying, and related industries about the importance of an accurate land title survey to land title evidencing.
